Featuring popular Cartoon Network toon sensations Ben 10 and the Powerpuff Girls, the collection includes sippers, lunch boxes and bag packs.

Kids can also take home a free school bag worth Rs 499 on shopping of Rs 1999 at Easybuy stores.

Little fans will also get an opportunity to ‘Meet & Greet’ Ben 10 at selected Easybuy stores across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka all through the month of May.

YRF signs two-film distribution deal with Green Gold Animation

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has entered into an agreement with Green Gold Animation. As per the pact, YRF will distribute two animated movies produced by Green Gold — Hanuman vs. Mahiravana and Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka across India.

Both the locally animated films will be released nationwide in Hindi and Tamil, in both stereoscopic 3D and standard versions.

Hanuman vs. Mahiravana will hit the silver screens on June 22, while Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka will release later this year.

According to the trailer, Hanuman vs. Mahiravana is the story of Lord Hanuman and his attempts to free Ram and Lakshman from the clutches of Mahiravana, the ruler of the underworld. The trailer promises an animated adventure with plenty of action and of course, everyone’s favourite characters from Ramayana. Whereas, Chhota Bheem: Kung Fu Dhamaka traces the encounter between Bheem and his nemesis in China.

“Chhota Bheem and Hanuman are iconic animation characters among Indian kids today,” said Rohan Malhotra, VP – Distribution, YRF.

According to Rohan, Hanuman from mythology and Chhota Bheem as a fictional character deserve a strong release.

Commenting on the distribution deal with YRF, Rajiv Chilaka, CEO, Green Gold Animation said, “YRF is a big and strong partner for us and we have worked together in the past and we are happy that this partnership will bring two amazing stereoscopic 3D animated movies for Indian audiences.”

Also, Licensing Corner announced that Rajiv Chilaka, CEO, Green Gold Animation, will lead the opening keynote at The India Brand Licensing Summit 2018.

The event is conceptualized by Licensing Corner & executed by Rooh entertainment, CEO Editor–in-chief, Rutika Malaviya, also a former LIMA (The International Licensing Industry Merchandiser’s Association) Official Representative in India.

This twin-film deal is to increase the consumption of home-grown entertainment.

Earlier, YRF had handled the successful Indian release of Green Gold’s 2013 film Chhota Bheem and the Throne of Bali.

Green Gold presently has presence in 2D animation, 3D animation, move distribution, merchandising and others. The popularity of the characters created by Green Gold has transcended over the years and it has helped the company establish itself as a leading player.

Forever 21 launches exclusive Coca-Cola capsule collection

The Coca-Cola Company partnered with fashion retailer Forever 21 for an exclusive apparel collection.

The F21xCoke collection is comprised of nostalgic ‘Coca-Cola’ iconography and includes an array of men’s and women’s apparel. Featuring classic red and white Coca-Cola colors, the collection boasts the perfect ‘throwback’ pieces to kick off the Summer season.

The women’s collection offers a collection of pieces from t-shirts, crop-tops, and beach ready bikini tops and bottoms. The men’s collection comprises of international Coca-Cola logo T-shirts and checkered logo shorts and jackets.

The collection also contains socks, fanny packs and six-panel baseball caps. The products from the collection range in price from $12.90 – $42.90.


“Coca-Cola is such a loved brand that represents great taste and authenticity,” said Linda Chang, vice president, merchandising, Forever 21. “We are very excited to bring our customers a unique and fresh way to celebrate Coca-Cola this summer.”

The Coca-Cola collection is available now at stores across North America and on the official online store from May 18 onwards.

US-based Harley-Davidson associates with G-III to design, sell apparel in Asia

Harley-Davidson is all set to spread its wings in India. According to a report in the Business Line, luxury motorcycle maker has inked an agreement with G-III Apparel Group to design and distribute its lifestyle apparel throughout Asia.

The company is looking to add 8-12 stores this year in western and northern parts of the country. Currently, it has four stores across East and North-East India. Apart from Kolkata, the company has one store each in Siliguri in West Bengal, Dimapur in Nagaland and Imphal (Manipur).

To expand its wings, the company is all set to add two more apparel stores in Varanasi and Goa.

Under the pact, G-III will develop a network of Harley-Davidson apparel stores in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We will gradually be growing our network of stores in India. It is still in the planning stage. Anybody who comes to Harley comes through our merchandise. It is our way to get to the dreamers,” Karen Davidson, Creative Director was quoted as saying from the Business Line.

Besides, Harley-Davidson also opened an exclusive merchandise store, in a bid to push the iconic brand in India through lifestyle apparel.

Riding a 2018 Fat Bob Harley Davidson bike, the store was inaugurated by Karen Davidson. She expressed hope that rising fuel prices in India will not be a deterrent for Harley bike sales.

The merchandise unit is aimed at youngsters aged between 18 and 35 years.

Karen Davidson is the great-grand daughter of William A Davidson, co-Founder of Harley-Davidson.

The clothing collection symbolizes Harley-Davidson’s history and American motorcycle culture, featuring unique details, stylish silhouettes and high-quality fabrics.

The US-based bike maker has sold more than 20,000 motorcycles since the commencement of its retail operations in India in 2010.

Currently, the company has a 50 per cent share of the cruiser motorbike segment in India, whereas, women bikers accounts for a nascent share in India.

Davidson said while women bikers in the US are in double digits, the number is very small in India, but expected the community ‘Ladies of Harley’ would play an important role in promoting women riders

The association with G-III is in sync with the company’s long-term strategy to build next generation of riders through lifestyle apparel.

Dreamline collaborates with designer Krsnaa Mehta for new collection

Dreamline has launched an exclusive collection in collaboration with the eminent designer brand – India Circus by Krsnaa Mehta.

Trump earned income of royalty from realty ventures in India in 2016: Report

US President Donald Trump received some income in the form of royalty from his realty ventures in India, according to his latest annual financial disclosure form for the year 2016.

Trump has listed assets of at least USD 1.4 billion and income of more than USD 452 million, according to the form.

A copy of which was released by the US Office of Government Ethics in the previous week. Trump submitted his disclosure on Tuesday (May 15).

As per the financial discloser form, Trump had two incomes from his India real estate ventures. Both the income has been put in category of royalties.

Trump had an income in the range of USD 1 million – USD 5 million from DT Marks Worli LLC under a license deal with Jawala Real Estate Private Ltd and Lodha Developers Private Ltd. Particularly the location of the deal has been mentioned as New York.

Similarly, Trump had an income in a range of USD 100,000 – USD 1 million from the DT Tower Kolkata LLC under a license deal with Concast Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, Tribeca Creators LLC, Regent Hirise.

Private Limited, Raj Construction Projects Private Limited, and Rob Realty and Infrastructure Limited. According to the financial closure, the location of this deal has been mentioned as Kolkata.

Trump, however, had small (less than USD 201) from DT Tower Gurgaon LLC venture.

As per the closure, his other ventures in India include DT India Venture Managing Member Corp, DT India Venture LLC, Trump Marks Mumbai LLC, Trump Marks Mumbai Member Corp, DT Marks Pune

However, the financial discloser form does not reveal any income from these ventures.

India is Trump Organization’s biggest international market, with residential projects in four cities — Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram and Kolkata, and one commercial, estimated USD 1.5 billion.

Interestingly, Donald Trump Jr. had made at least ten trips to India over the past decade, calling the country “the biggest push for our organization.”

Rihanna expands Beach Please summer beauty collection

Following the April launch of glitter-drenched body shimmers, Rihanna has announced an expansion to the brand’s summer 2018 “Beach Please” makeup collection.

Fenty Beauty reveals that the singer is expanding her “Beach, Please” summer beauty collection on May 21 with an array of new additions.

These will include three “Killawatt Foils” duo color compacts, six limited-edition “Lip Luminizers” and two dual-ended “Eye Shimmers” in vivid colors ranging from sunset orange to lavender blue. The new products will join the existing cosmetics in the “Beach, Please” line; namely, a “Fairy Bomb” beauty puff and two “Body Lava” body luminizers.
